Starting a Health Plan

It may seem cliche' to start a health plan in the beginning of the new year but it's a good way get motivated. A new year brings new possibilities and goals. Start small and don't overdue it. Let your family and friends know that you are starting something so they can be there to support you. If you make a plan for meals and exercise you will be more likely to stick to it and see results.

Relax After a Long Day

It's important to recharge your mind and body after a day's work. it's a good thing to be productive but if you never stop you can become stressed out, anxious, not get good sleep and become irritable. it's important to take time for yourself each day. If you're a morning person, try meditation or some exercise before you leave for the day. If there's no time in the morning consider taking some time after your work day to relax. Go for a walk or a run. Read a book, magazine or newspaper. If you have children take some time to play with them for a while, reconnecting. Having a balance of down time and productive time will keep you sane and healthy.
