Ways to Stop Saying "Don't" and "No" to your Kids
It can get tiring always saying those words to your kids to keep them from doing things you don't want them to do and they do it.. Instead try a different approach, describe the situation and they will figure out what they need to do or not to do. here are some examples: "Your plate is still on the table" they will see the plate on the table and bring it into the kitchen. "That's making a big mess on the floor", stops making a mess and cleans it up. "Dinner is on the table" they come to the table to eat. It is a simple concept but does work. The hardest part is for you the parent to change your ways of saying "no" all the time. There is no shouting and struggling with them to get them to do the things that you ask. It may not work right away but if you are consistent who will see results.
