You Can Achieve Natural Insomnia Relief

Two Programs
We offer two programs which can help you learn to sleep better, each is built on the same principles of self-regulation to help change the behaviors contributing to insomnia but offer different approaches to relaxation training. These two approaches are not mutually exclusive and can be done together.

The first is this Freedom from Insomnia 8 lesson online class featuring slow, deep abdominal respiration techniques (the same techniques used in Yoga, Qigong and T'ai Chi) and taught by Thomas Cobb, M.A. These two programs work well together (since working on multiple relaxation techniques increases results) or can be utilized separately.

The Freedom From Insomnia Online Class
Based on the principles of biofeedback and self-regulation which teach you how to sleep well without medication, this class is taught in a step-by-step systematic way that takes you beyond information but actually teaches you how to train your body and mind to allow good sleep. The lessons and homework build a structure for change over the length of the 8 week class. There is a 24/7 discussion board where you can ask questions, make comments and receive specific, personalized support from the instructor. Taught by a biofeedback educator with years of experience in training self-regulation skills and insomnia relief.

Topics Include:
• Good 'Sleep Hygiene' and how to create it.
• How to calm your mind enough to allow sleep.
• How to calm your body enough to allow sleep.
• Extensive training in slow, deep abdominal respiration for effective relaxation
• How to establish the habit of easy sleep entry and restful sleep.
• Personalized support and interaction with a trained biofeedback educator.

The second is an audio program using the GSR2 Biofeedback System along with a Sleep Well audio program featuring Peter Hauri, Ph.D., a nationally recognized expert in the treatment of insomnia.

• Uses simple relaxation techniques that remove the stress that causes sleeplessness
• Helps you identify your sleep disorder
• Instructs you in healthy sleep routines
• Employs the GSR2 Relaxation Monitor, that helps you learn how to relax deeply
• Includes a two hour cassette program and a record keeping forms in a complete manual
• Developed and field tested by leading psychologists
