The EEG-Z improves the quality of EEG recordings with high quality, low impedance electrode connections. It takes the guess work out of impedence testing. The software allows user defined sensitivity ranges for impedence testing and graphical display shows clearly when a connection is not good. The EEG-Z checks impedence for the ten seconds after it is turned on and then changes to regular EEG mode for recording. This means that there is no need to plug the and unplug the electrodes from the sensor. The impedance check is performed directly inside the sensor for all three leads at the same time and Windows based E-Z Connect software gives a color coded quick reference diagram during impedence testing. The EEG-Z includes user-adjustable sensitivity range settings for optimal customization.
